It is made from naturally occurring colors found in the Earth's surface. Thorough testing has been done to ensure maximum vibrancy, durability, and safety for people, animals, and the environment. The results placed our colorants in the lowest and safest level of toxicity possible: Category IV, the same as everyday sugar. Salt and baking soda, by contrast, actually have a higher toxicity level.
